Voices of Distinction - A French Affair

Voices of Distinction - A French Affair: Piaf, Offenbach, and Brel

What could be more distinctively French than these three? (Okay, Brel is Belgian, but you know what we mean!) Any “French affair” by definition ranges from the exuberance of the can-can made famous by Offenbach to the defiance of Piaf’s “Je ne regrette rien” to the tenderness of Brel singing about sons. In a Festival of the Voice original concept, we provide all that - as interpreted by both veteran singers and soon-to-be stars. It’s a unique evening of popular French song and dance showcasing established artistry and vocal innovation, the kind of evening that makes you want to shout ‘Vive la France!’
