Voices of Distinction - A French Affair: Piaf, Offenbach, Brel & CanCan

What could be more distinctively French than Offenbach, Brel, Piaf, Aznavour, Maurice Chevalier? A French Affair brings them all right here to Phoenicia in a concert that wows you with the exuberance of the cancan, made famous by Offenbach,  to the defiance of Piaf’s “Je ne regrette rien,” to the tenderness of Brel singing about fathers and sons. We’ll bring it to you via the medium of a Festival of the Voice original concept: a Voices of Distinction concert showcasing established stars— Lauren Flanigan, Lucas Meachem, Mireille Asselin, French star impersonator, Olivier Laurent—and promising young stars-to-be. With the exotic Barynya dance troupe kicking up their heels in the cancan and those voices of distinction transporting you to a music hall in Paris during the era of the great chanteurs, it’s the kind of evening that will make you want to shout “Vive la France!”
