The Children’s Chorus of Featured Opera 2017: La Boheme by Puccini

The lively second act of La Boheme features a remarkable children’s chorus. We want to offer to the children in our community the unique opportunity of being part of a memorable experience and performing on the Main Stage alongside international stars and a full orchestra in a fully staged production under the baton of Maestro David Wroe. In preparation for the performance, the Festival foundation faculty will give free vocal and musical training for the children’s chorus.

All children between the ages of 8 and 18 who enjoy singing are welcome to join. The ability to read music is not necessary.

Class participation is free. If interested, please contact Harvey Boyer, Director of Education, at childrenchorus@phoeniciavoicefest.org. Please also fill out this form and mention “La Boheme Children’s Chorus” and provide the following information: child’s name, contact, age, experience level (reads music/does not read music, plays an instrument, etc.) and school name.

Deadline: May 1st, 2017.

Rehearsal times and location TBD.
