Monica Soyemi - Soprano
Monica Soyemi has performed in many cities in the U.S. and Canada, as well as internationally in cities in Europe, Asia and several Latin American countries. Most recently, Monica returned from performing in France where she toured the country and completed an astounding 45 concerts! She performed in India and Germany early last year and will be traveling to Japan to perform this Christmas. As a member with the Young People’s Chorus (YPC) of NYC, she has had opportunities to grace the stages at Carnegie Hall, Rose Hall at Lincoln Center, and other notable venues in New York City. You can hear her as the voice of Uchenna Devereaux in the animation the Unicorn Rescue Society. Monica earned her Equity affiliation when cast in the role of Sherrie Carter in Woodie King Jr.’s Off-Broadway production of Urban Transition: Loose Blossoms. She is a proud member of Screen Actors Guild (SAG), American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA), Actor’s Equity Association (AEA), as well as the Harlem Arts Alliance.
