Phoenicia has an abundance of charming venues – all within a short walking distance from each other.

Listen to a counter tenor singing Bach motets at Phoenicia’s beautifully ornate  Catholic Church, stroll to the United Methodist Church and take in a Gospel Group in full swing, cross the street to the historic and rustic home of the Shandaken Theatrical Society, and catch a show, and finally meander to the beautiful oasis of the Parish Field, where evening is falling, and a performance of Puccini’s Madame Butterfly is about to begin on the beautiful Festival Stage, under the stars, between the foothills of Mt Tremper and the mighty Esopus Creek.

Most of our venues are wheelchair accessible and we welcome all, and will work with individuals who need to make special access arrangements.
