Mezzo Kiri Parker, a native of the UK, was a choral scholar at The Queen’s College Oxford, where she studied Theology
before training in opera at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and at Mannes College of Music. Her operatic credits include Hermia in Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Aspen Opera Theatre Centre), Meg Page in Falstaff (Mannes Opera; Martina Arroyo Foundation), Hasse’s Cleopatra (Guildhall), Musetta in Bohème (Oxford City Opera), Thisbe in Cenerentola (Capitol Heights Lyric Opera), Donizetti’s Rita (Guildhall), Rosina (Aspen, cover), Servilia in Clemenza di Tito (Operatique), and Woman with a Hat in The Ghosts of Versailles (Aspen, cover). Recently she sang Argento’s Miss Manners on Music and Horovitz’s Lady Macbeth for the Aspen Music Festival. Her concert work includes the St. John Passion with the Oxford Baroque Soloists and the Bach Magnificat with Charivari Agreable. She has worked with composers including Michael Berkeley, Nicola Le Fanu and John Woolrich and has performed recitals inLondon andNew York.
